The nominees for the 2025 Primetime Emmy Awards were announced on Tuesday. I don't know who the winners are until September, but AppletV+ dominates the nominations.
The retirement dominated the field with 27 nominations, and the studio led the comedy candidate with a record 23.
Other dramas were not nearing retirement from the dystopian workplace series.
Lead acting nominations came to Adam Scott and Britt Lower. It was a double role as their character's “Innie” job and “Outie” home were themselves. Tramell Tillman got a supportive nod by playing a supervisor who is wielding a tone-shift pineapple. Patricia Arkutt was nominated for supporting the actress for playing an outcast who was exiled from the ominous family business at the show's center. Ben Stiller was appointed command.
Seth Rogen and Katherine O'Hara are among the Canadians who have been nominated for multiple Emmy Awards this year.

Both received a nod to Rogen's AppletV+ Cringe comedy The Studio.
It beat a record set by Ted Lasso in 2021, winning 20 nominations in its debut year.
Rogen has received nominations for Best Leader in Comedy Series, Best Direct and Best Writing.
Meanwhile, Toronto's O'Hara won two nominations. One was the best supporting actress in the studio, and the other was a guest role in the HBO zombie drama The Last of Us.
As expected, Emmy voters also thrilled love for the comedy's so-called “Big Four,” Hacking, Bear, Abbott Elementary School, and the only murder in the building. Many of the people competing in the drama category would have been happy that Shogun, filmed by Emmy, was in the season.
