Thousands of fans lined up Birmingham, England, and said goodbye to rock icon Ozzy Osbourne on Wednesday during a funeral procession held for Black Sabbath Frontman, who passed away on July 22nd, at the age of 76.
Osborne's 43-year-old wife, Sharon and his two children, Jack and Kelly, followed the spirit sege of the late locker of the car as they passed through the city of Birmingham, the British city where he grew up and the British city where the band Black Sabbath was formed in 1968.
Fans chanted, “Ozzy, Ozzy, Ozzy, oi, oi, oi!” The spirit hearse, carrying Osborne, headed to the Black Sabath bench on Broad Street, which was announced at the Broad Street Canal Bridge in 2019.

Six vehicles carrying the Osborne family – covered all the costs of the procession, but followed the spirit hearse. They left the car and saw the goodbye message left to Osborne.
The spirit hear was characterized by a purple flower spelling “ozzy” above his co.

Visibly emotional, Sharon leaned over Kelly and Jack for support as she shed tears as she laid flowers in the sea of tribute left behind for her late husband.

The crowd chanted, “Sharon, Sharon, Sharon!” A fan tribute as she stood and praised.
Intimately following behind Sharon, the couple's third daughter, Amy, was rarely seen.

The family returned to their cars and spent some time on the bridge before continuing the queue. Fans present threw flowers at the funeral car as Cortage continued to move further down Broad Street.

Private funerals are being held for Osborne's family and for close friends later in the day at a private location.

Large crowds began gathering along route time before the queue that began at 1pm local time.
The Jaguar Haase and six Mercedes cars were accompanied by police motorcycles and police cars that ran slowly down the street.

Cortezi was accompanied by a performance by local musician Bostin Brass-Live Brass Band, a final musical moment that honors Osborne's legacy. The band performed some of Osborne's hits, including Iron Man.
The event “bringed a massive number of fans who gathered to say goodbye to the man who helped shape the global heavy metal genre and proudly carried the Birmingham spirit throughout his career, and his family gave him the opportunity to see the memories of many of his loyal fans leave flowers and tributes behind.
Birmingham City Council worked with partners over the weekend to coordinate a “respectful and safe public event.”

Since the announcement of Osborne's death, fans have made pilgrimage to sites around Birmingham.

“Ozzy was more than a musical legend. He was Birmingham's son. He was recently awarded the city's freedom and, following his famous appearance at a back concert held at Villa Park earlier this month, it was important that we support the appropriate dignified compliment before the private family funeral,” Coun said. Birmingham Mayor Zafar Iqbal said in a statement.
“We know how meaningful this moment means to his fans. We are proud to be able to host it here with his beloved family where it all began. We are grateful for their generous offer to allow this to happen and pay to support the city,” Iqbal added.
Osborne and his black Sabbath bandmates Terrence “Gieser” Butler, Tony Iomi and Bill Ward, were recently awarded city freedom for their services to Birmingham.

Just two weeks before his death, Osborne held his final live performance on July 5th at Villa Park Soccer Stadium, his hometown of Birmingham, central England, with Black Sabbath's original lineup.
The singer sang from the black throne, rising from under the stage.
“I don't know what to say, man, I've been layed up for about six years. You don't know how I feel. Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” the Crazy Train singer said. “You're all… special. Let's get hooked, come on.”
Osborne performed several songs solo before his previous black Sabbath bandmate first appeared on stage for the first time in 20 years. The band finished their short set with one of their most famous songs, Paranoid.
On July 22, his family announced that Osborne had passed away, saying, “There is more sadness than we can tell you that we must report that our beloved Osborne has passed away this morning. He is surrounded by love with his family.
He was survived by his wife Sharon and his six children.
