According to UFC CEO and President Dana White, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) event on the White House premises will take place on July 4, 2026.
“It's definitely going to happen,” White told CBS Morning on August 12, saying Independence Day is the current proposed day.
White said he spoke with US President Donald Trump about an event that is planning America's 250th birthday on Monday. He also said he plans to meet with Trump and his daughter Ivanka Trump at the end of August, with details confirmed and reviewing renderings of the venue.
“When he (Trump) called me and asked me to do it, he said, 'I want Ivanka in the middle of this,” White said. “So Ivanka reached out to me and she and I began talking about the possibilities.
White also told The Associated Press that the event “is going to happen” at the president's home in Washington, DC next summer.
“Think about that. On the 250th birthday in the United States, the UFC lives in the White House South Lawn on CBS,” he said.
The UFC boss said it was too early to discuss the potential main event of the White House Fight Night.
“This is one event,” White added.
Last month, Trump said he would like to hold a UFC game on the White House grounds with more than 20,000 spectators to celebrate 250 years of American independence.

“All of our national park battlefields and historic sites are set to host special events at the American Honor 250,” Trump said. “And I think we're even going to fight the UFC. We're going to fight the UFC on the White House property.”
“The Championship Battle – a complete battle,” he added.
Former UFC champion Conor McGregor, who visited the White House on St. Patrick's Day, previously volunteered to participate in the match.
“We are excited to announce President Trump's UFC fight event at the White House,” he wrote on July 4th.

Plans for the first UFC fight at the White House were shared hours after Paramount and the UFC announced their $1 billion rights deal, and will become the new home for UFC events across the United States next year through a seven-year agreement.
Under its UFC agreement, Paramount will distribute only the full lineup of 13 marquee numbered events and 30 fight nights with 13 marquee numbered events and 30 fight nights with a full lineup of 13 marquee numbered events and 30 fight nights with selected numbered events set to be broadcast simultaneously on CBS starting in 2026.
This is a transition from the UFC's existing pay-per-view model, with Paramount and the TKO group saying that mixed martial arts programming will reach more consumers nationwide.
White said in a post on social media platform X that its deal with Paramount will make it more affordable and accessible by allowing U.S. consumers to watch UFC events.
“The deal puts the UFC in the world's biggest sport,” he writes. “The exposure offered by Paramount and the CBS network under this new structure is a huge victory for athletes and those who watch this sport and love.”
