Google's AI mode arrives in Spanish globally

Google's ai mode arrives in spanish globally

Google Search brings AI mode features (an AI-powered search experience) to Spanish-speaking users. The company announced on Tuesday. This extension introduces Google's conversation search interface to a wider marketplace, allowing users to use natural language queries to ask questions, have conversations before and after, upload images, and delve deeper into complex topics.

The Spanish language rollout comes as the company released the feature to 180 more countries around the world following the expansion of Google's major AI modes in August. Previously, it was only available in the US, UK and India. During the August rollout, Google introduced advanced AI capabilities to Google AI Ultra Subscribers, allowing them to request restaurant reservations in AI mode. The company plans to introduce support for purchasing other types of appointments and event tickets in the future.

Google is rapidly deploying AI across its products and services, with multiple product announcements often occurring simultaneously. For example, the company announced Tuesday that it is bringing conversational photo editing to all Android users in the US. It also announced that the more affordable Google AI Plus subscription plan, first introduced in Indonesia, has now arrived in 40 countries. The expansion follows the recent launch of Openai, ChatGpt's Go Plan, which launched in India and Indonesia on Tuesday in August.

The ChatGpt Go plan is a middle tier subscription option between Openai's free version and its premium $20-Month ChatGPT Plus plan. Users get a usage limit of 10 times the free plan for sending questions and prompts, generating images, and uploading files. According to Openai, the plan also allows ChatGpt to remember the previous conversation better, allowing for more personalized responses over time.

Earlier this month, Google announced that AI modes also support Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean and Brazilian Portuguese.

With so many products, users may find it difficult to distinguish between different features and features, such as differences between Google's AI mode and its AI overview. The former is another, immersive, conversational experience where users chat directly with Gemini AI. Meanwhile, the AI overview simply provides a quick, AI-generated overview of information about the search queries at the top of Google search results.
