Billie Eilish had some choice words for tech billionaire Elon Musk.
Earlier this month, Musk, 54, won a shareholder vote that would give him $1 trillion worth of Tesla CEO stock if he met certain performance goals over the next 10 years. Shareholders met at the annual general meeting, where more than 75% of voters approved the plan.
In response to the report, Eilish, 23, took to her Instagram Story on November 13 to call Musk, already the world's richest person, “pathetic and a coward.”
The Ocean Eyes singer shared an infographic originally posted by My Voice, My Choice that suggested what Musk could do with his vast fortune to help with the global crisis.
The first photo read: “Elon Musk has become the world's first millionaire. What can he do with this?”
In the next slide, Musk proposed ways he could help the world, including “Doomsday hunger” and “Choose between spending $40 billion a year to end world hunger by 2030, or spending $140 billion on universal safe clean water for the planet over the next seven years.”

In the next slide, Musk said he could “save all 10,443 endangered species” by paying “$1 billion to $2 billion a year to lower all endangered species to endangered status.”
The final slide suggested that Musk could pay $53.2 billion to “rebuild Gaza and the occupied West Bank in accordance with the European Union.”
“If he wanted to spread the wealth and provide more aid, he could also rebuild Ukraine and Syria at a cost of $793.2 billion, although the UN estimates this could exceed $70 billion for Gaza alone,” the post reads.

In her final post, Eilish wrote: “Etc.. Poor woman, a coward.”

As of this writing, Musk has not publicly responded to Eilish's comments.

Eilish's criticism of Musk comes weeks after she suggested billionaires need to donate more while accepting a music award at this year's WSJ Magazine Innovators Awards in October.

“We're in a really, really bad, really dark time in the world right now, especially in our country, where people need empathy and help more than ever,” Eilish told the audience, which included Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan, as well as Star Wars creator George Lucas.
“I think if you have money, use it for good and give it to people who need it,” she added.
Late night host Stephen Colbert introduced Eilish on stage at New York's Museum of Modern Art and announced that $11.5 million of the proceeds from the Hit Me Hard and Soft tour will be donated to causes dedicated to food equity, climate justice and reducing carbon pollution.
While accepting the award, the Bad Guys singer politely but directly addressed others in the room, saying that many people, especially in the United States, could use help right now.
“I love you all, but there are some people here who have a lot more money than I do,” she said, as the crowd erupted in applause. “So if you're a billionaire, why are you a billionaire? And no hate, but give your money away, little people.”
