    Health Canada is issuing recalls of thousands of children's jewelry for sale on Amazon.

    The first recall includes dkazz stitches and a best friend necklace from Scrum. According to Health Canada, the metallic blue and pink pendant necklace is sold as a pair of plastic bags with serial number x004d46bnp.

    Amazon.ca reported that 6,682 necklaces were sold in Canada from May 2023 to March 2025, but no injuries were reported and Amazon removed these items from sales online.

    “The Health Canada Sampling and Assessment Program has determined that the jewelry contains lead that exceeds the acceptable limits,” the notice states.

    The second alert includes the Suzukitoy Charm Bracelet Making Kit for children aged 4 and up. The Art and Craft Kit includes a variety of beads and pendants, an adjustable bracelet, hair clip, keychain and rope necklace.

    “Hello Princess” and “You are my little princess” are written on a pink gift box.

    According to Amazon, the 9,800 units of the affected product were sold in Canada from August 2023 to April 2025. No injuries have been reported so far, and the product has been removed from online sales.

    Lead and cadmium are very toxic, Health Canada is a warning, especially for children.

    Various serious health effects have been associated with lead and cadmium exposure, including anemia, vomiting, diarrhea, severe brain damage, convulsions, coma, effects related to the liver, kidneys, heart and immune system, according to the agency. In extreme cases, there was death.

    Health Canada is asking consumers to use affected products to quickly steal gems from children and dispose of them in accordance with local government hazardous waste guidelines.

    Consumers can also report injuries and other health and hygiene cases in the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.
