Police arrested the man after crashing his car into the main gate of Jennifer Aniston's house in Los Angeles on Monday.
According to Officer Jeff Lee of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the incident occurred around Bel Air around the country around 12:20pm, with the Friends Star still at home at the time of the crash.
The private security guard arrested the driver and hugged him until police arrived.
“He used his car to knock the door to the residence,” Lee said, adding that the driver was driving a gray Chrysler PT cruiser.
According to ABC News, 48-year-old Jimmy Wayne Carweil is reserved for felony vandalism and has not been formally charged in the case. The LA County District Attorney's Office is expected to decide which claims to file after LAPD file its case in the coming days.
Police said Carweil's appointment was delayed as he was taken to the hospital after hitting the gate and complaining of back pain. Investigators said the crash appeared intentional but no motive was confirmed.

The incident comes months after Aniston is the victim of a mischievous attack. This refers to a false 911 call that was often made to public figures' businesses and homes, which could encourage a major emergency and potentially create dangerous situations.
On Saturday, September 21st, at about 12:30am, someone called LAPD and asked police to do a wellness check on “their friends they were worried about.”
The caller gave an address to police Aniston, but did not name the 56-year-old actor. When officers arrive at the house they are greeted by security guards and Aniston reportedly came out to assure police that she is fine.
Aniston bought a medieval mansion in 2012 on a 3.4-acre lot for around USD 21 million, according to a report by Architectural Digest.
