Downtown Music Publishing has appointed Jason Taylor as Vice President of Business Development.
Reporting to Los Angeles-based Chief Creative Officer Jed Catlancha, Downtown said Taylor will focus on the legacy catalogue and lead the efforts Taylor builds on the company's global roster to build a new B2B partnership.
Taylor will be joining DMP following senior positions at Iconoclast, Hipgnosis Songs Group and Big Deal Music Group.
Downtown, he will expand his Los Angeles-based footprint based on his experience.

The company has also announced the expanded role of Bea Koramblyum, global business head and vice president of business development.
Downtown, who was recently appointed chairman of the Music Business Association, said her new title formalizes its contribution to “growing catalogs through strategic trading and business development initiatives.”

These appointments follow Downtown Music Publishing's appointment as Catlancha's Chief Creative Officer.
DMP said at the time that Katrancha would lead the department's creative strategy and oversee A&R, business development, and synchronization (both creative and licensing).
