US drug maker Eli Lily on Monday offered a high-dose version of Zepbound, a popular weight loss drug on its website Lillydirect, with shipments to begin in early August.
The company said the 12.5 milligram and 15 mg dosages are available for US$499 per month on its website, which includes shipments to self-salary patients.

Trend now
Healthcare providers can begin prescribing 12.5 mg and 15 mg vials on July 7, the company added.
Lily began offering two lowest doses of Zepbound vials, usually sold in automatic injector pens, last August.
In February, the company began offering vials at discounted prices.
