The moment was aired on a Catholic Portuguese television channel. At Paietano, a duo of nuns and priests appeared on the air and discussed their work.
The sisters, who were wearing light blue skirts, white blouses and crosses pronounced around their necks, were in the middle singing harmonious songs when her respectful companions dropped a freestyle beat as they broke out in a dance.
The clip quickly gained popularity on social media, creating headlines in Brazil, and was later featured on US news outlet NBC.
Meanwhile, some social media users have compared the improvised sister-sister acts in which Mary Clarence, played by Hoopy Goldberg, forms the monastery's deadbeat choir into a sweet-sounding sensation.
Tiktok's responses are also flooded with reactions, with one user writing a comment under the NBC post, “What do you know, Heaven Yeah,” with over 113,000 likes.
