U2 frontman Bono is Canada's “awesomeness” after the latest federal elections in the world.
The Irish rock star spoke with Global Morning Show earlier this week and provided his views on the outcome of Canada's latest federal election.
“I'm so happy to be able to talk to your Canadians in your political life. It shows the world how to do it. I've always been your mosaic, your culture, your reasons, and I've never done that anymore than I do now,” Bono said in an interview.
“The whole world is in ecstatic for what you did. I would like to thank you for coming together, putting all politics aside and not choosing populists. Recently, it has been revealed that capabilities are the rarest on the planet.
“I say that's 51 reasons why I love Canada,” Bono said. He said President Donald Trump has mentioned the repeated threat of turning Canada into the 51st American state.

Trump repeated his jibe by insisting that Canada had to pay US$61 billion to be part of his “Golden Dome” space-based missile defense program, but in the message he claimed that if that didn't become part of the US, he “telled Canada.”
“I want to Canada to be part of our amazing Golden Dome system, but I said that if it's an independent but unequal country it costs $61 billion, but when it comes to the precious 51st state, it costs zero dollars,” Trump writes about the true society. “They are considering their offer!”
“The Prime Minister was clear on every opportunity, including in his conversation with President Trump that Canada is an independent, sovereign nation and remains one.”
