The legal battle between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie involves the sale of half of the French wineries they owned together.
Pitt, 61, sued Jolie, 50, 70, in 2022, about selling shares at winery Chateau Miraval.
The F1 star previously said he wanted to buy half of Jolie's winery and abandoned negotiations when he sold some of the winery.
On June 30, Pitt filed court documents attempting to retire Alexei Olinik, who works for Stri Group. In a filing obtained by Pitt, Pitt said that Olinik knows firsthand to Teneridelmond about Jolie's 2021 winery sales knowledge.
In February 2022, Pitt filed a lawsuit alleging that Jolie had made the sale without consent, ruining the private space, which was his second home. Pitt was called “vindictive” and “illegal” by his ex-wife.
Jolie rebutted Pitt's lawsuit in September 2022, claiming that the debate over the sale of the winery's share was exacerbated when Pitt claimed that he “prohibited contractual bans from discussing Pitt's physical and emotional abuse.”

In Pitt's new submission, Oliynik refused to take over related documents, including messages with her team related to the sale of Jolie and Winery. He said he cannot be forced to do so as a Swiss resident.

“These requests go directly to important claims about Pitt's objections to the sale,” Pitt's legal team wrote in the actor's submission.
They also argue that the request to leave Olinik “easily meets the criteria for discoverability, taking into account Pitt's claim that Jolie acted maliciously when selling to Story, a counterparty that Pitt knew Pitt was against.”
If a judge supports Pitt's claim filed in California Superior Court, Jolie's private message could be revealed as important evidence in the court battle.

Jolie filed for divorce in 2016 after a private jet flight from Europe.
The former couple eventually reached a divorce settlement in December 2024, ending one of the longest divorces in Hollywood history. The divorce agreement did not affect the winery lawsuit, which continued legal battle between the two stars.
“More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Pitt,” Jolie's lawyer, James Simon, said in a statement. “She and her children left behind all the property she shared with Pitt. Since then, she has focused on finding peace and healing for her family, only part of a long, ongoing process that began eight years ago.
FBI and children's services officials investigated the behavior of the pits during flight. Two months later, the FBI issued a statement saying it had not investigated further and no charges were filed.
Jolie and Pitt have been one of Hollywood's most prominent pairings for 12 years, two of which were married couples. The Oscar winner has six children. Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiro, 19, twins Vivienne and Knox, 16.
