Saturday Night Live is preparing for its 51st season, and the sketch comedy show has added Canadian comic Veronica Slorikowska to its lineup.
The Barry, Ontario native will be one of five new cast members to take part in the iconic sketch comedy show this fall.
Slowerikowska, 29, announced the news on Instagram, writing, “Dream Come Tury. See you on Saturday.”
The actor has drawn attention to her viral sketch comedy videos on Tiktok and Instagram, as well as her recurring roles in FX comedy.

She also featured Shane Gillis' comedy series Tires, 2023 Canadian Drummer I in the film and Christmas romcom Exmas.

Srowikowska is not only the only Canadian to perform on the iconic studio 8H stage, but also the only woman in the new cast, including Tommy Brennan, Jeremy Klhane, Ben Marshall and Cam Patterson.
The announcement of the new cast follows a massive shakeup in which several SNL stars revealed a departure from the hit series last week.
Devon Walker spoke to the exit three seasons after in an Instagram post, writing, “Me and the baby have broken up.”
Walker's post was followed by announcements that Emil Wakim, Michael Longfellow and Heidi Gardner would not return to the show either.
“Saturday Night Live” Season 51 will take place globally on October 4th at 11:30pm ET.
