Lucky Buyer became the owner of the lightsabers used by Darth Vader of Star Wars, and the lightsabers over the revival and return of the Jedi.

The iconic Star Wars props were sold at auction on Thursday and won over US$3.6 million.

According to the auction's website Propstore, it was estimated that if interested buyers could place a bid, the iconic film props would sell for between $1 million and $3 million.

Darth Vader's lightsaber has a total of 31 bids, with the winners reaching $3,654,000.

“Equipped on both David Prowes and Stunt performer Bob Anderson. This is a major duel prop created for Vader's character in both the Empire and the Jedi. It was used extensively during the filming of both films and is one of the most memorable film props from the original trilogy,” reads the website's description.
