Lucky Buyer became the owner of the lightsabers used by Darth Vader of Star Wars, and the lightsabers over the revival and return of the Jedi.
The iconic Star Wars props were sold at auction on Thursday and won over US$3.6 million.
According to the auction's website Propstore, it was estimated that if interested buyers could place a bid, the iconic film props would sell for between $1 million and $3 million.
Darth Vader's lightsaber has a total of 31 bids, with the winners reaching $3,654,000.
“Equipped on both David Prowes and Stunt performer Bob Anderson. This is a major duel prop created for Vader's character in both the Empire and the Jedi. It was used extensively during the filming of both films and is one of the most memorable film props from the original trilogy,” reads the website's description.
The prop reportedly is the only lightsaber in the original Star Wars trilogy that hit the auction block.

“It speaks to the enduring cultural power of Star Wars and the passion of fans and collectors who view these artifacts as touchstones of modern mythology,” he added.
Another major item on sale during the auction is ongoing through Saturday. This includes Steven Spielberg's Indiana Jones bullfighting, belts and whip holsters, as well as the final Crusades, the third in the series. The item was sold for $475,650.

Another big item sold during the auction was a Lick Dalton flamethrower tank and backpack.
A flamethrower used in the film “Once upon a Time in Hollywood.”

The auction took place at the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles.
Other items included the Harry Potter franchise's famous platform 9 3/4 sign. The Harry Potter franchise sold for the 1975 Jaws Shark Tooth Clapperboard, $94,500, Black Screen Matching Light Up Hero Men's Men, for $315,000.
