The graphic designer testified Wednesday that she was extremely hurt after Shaun “Diddy” Combs hugged her on the balcony of his 17th floor apartment, and then she occasionally fell asleep.
Briana “Bana” Vongolan, 33, a friend of Combs' former longtime girlfriend, Cathy Ventura, said the 2016 attack at Ventura's Los Angeles apartment caused bruises in the back and neck with pain. It also left her emotionally hurt, she told the ju referee.
“I have night horror and paranoia and sometimes I'll scream about sleep,” said Bongolan, the creative and marketing director who runs my own art agency.
Her testimony came in the fourth week of prosecutors' presentation of evidence to try to prove he oversaw an assault organization made up of his employees and peers who had been physically and sexually abused women over two decades.
Combs, 55, pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to send him to prison for 15 years if convicted, sex trafficking and other charges.
Day 15
Bongolan is the latest woman to testify that the hip-hop mogul acted violently against her and Cassandra “Cathy” Ventura, and she has already testified about the abuse for four days. Other witnesses said they saw him physically abusing a woman.
Ventura testified that she saw Combs bring one of her friends back to the balcony railing in her apartment early in the morning.

Ventura says when she woke up to the episode she was sleeping in her room.

“I saw him bring her back to the balcony railing and then throw her into the furniture on the patio,” testified Ventura.
When Bongolan recalls the attack, she says Combs surged into her Ventura apartment and lifted her up and put her on the rails. She said she was afraid that she would plummet her death when she pushed back into the comb.
“I was scared of falling,” she said. Bongolan said he had been screaming at her throughout the trial, and estimated that he had hugged her on the railing for 10-15 seconds.
She said Combs threw her into the furniture on the balcony. Adrenaline helped her strength through the ordeal, Bongolan said. She recalled what happened shortly after she was thrown away.
Vongolan said Ventura, who was sleeping in the bedroom, came out and asked Combs. Bongolan's ex-girlfriend also said he was in the apartment, Combs left quickly, Bongolan said.

Bongolan said she has a permanent effect from the combs she assaults her.
“I had nightmares, lots of delusions, I had lots of screams in my sleep, but it disappeared a little,” she testified.
Some of her fantasies include carefully opening the door and peering into the room before entering, she said, and she added that she had recently had nightmares, just like she did a few days ago.
Bongolan said Combs gave her medication on three or four occasions, including ecstasy, cocaine, ketamine and G.

She also said she took the medicine at Ventura once a week when Combs was not present.
Testifying in response to a subpoena from the prosecutor, Bongolan was granted immunity after first refusing to answer questions and saying he would call the Fifth Amendment to Autoimmunity. She was at least the third witness to be immunized to testify.
What the comb is on trial
US prosecutors claim that for 20 years behind the scenes, Combs had forced and abused women with the help of a network of fellow networks who silenced the victims through fearful mail and violence.
Combs is faced with accusations that include an explanation of “freak-off.” This is defined in court documents as “combs were placed, directed, masturbated and elaborated on sex performances that were often recorded electronically.”
Prosecutors accused Combs of suffocating, crashing, kicking and dragging him, and silenced people, prosecuting him, according to the people. One indictment alleges that the comb hanged someone from the balcony.

Dozens of men and women allege in lawsuits that abused them, but the trial highlights the claims of four women.
Comb is charged with sex trafficking, conspiracy to engage in prostitution and assault on transport. He denied all charges against him, opting to go to trial instead, and refused a plea deal.
If convicted in a New York court, he could face life in prison.
