Brooke Hogan, 71, broke her silence after the death of her father, wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, on July 24th.
Brooke, 37, took to social media on Tuesday to give his father an emotional respect, saying, “My father's blood runs through my veins. His eyes were shining through my children. And our bonds were never broken.”
“We had a deeper connection than words. It lasted a lifetime. I'm grateful to know his true version, not just the world seen through a carefully curated lens.
“I know what Best Star said when his father passed away,” Hogan said.
“I felt it before the news reached us. He reminded me. “This is all temporary and I will always be back to you.” I truly believe we will find each other in every lifetime,” she wrote.
The former reality star said he knows his father is “now in peace, in pain, and in a place as beautiful as he imagined.”
“He was talking about this moment with such wonder and hope. Just as we meet God, God was the biggest championship he had ever had.”

Brooke recalls her memories with her father, including “watching him build my Barbie dream home, ride a jet ski, and laughing until he cried when he made a joke,” and shared that she gave her “love and respect for the sea.”
“His embrace was at my home. Wrapping my arms in his big frame made me feel like his little girl, even when I grew up. I will never forget his scent,” she said.
She named her daughter Molly Jean after her father. Her father, whose real name was Terry Jean Borea.
“When I have my sweet Molly gene named after him, she sometimes smells like him. I feel his presence in my child. He lives through me and them.”
Brooke also told the “story” she said “the media is getting complicated” around her and her famous father.

“We never had a 'big battle'. My father and I never “fighted.” It was a series of personal calls that my father trusted me with issues that were both his heart and business.
She told her father he asked him to “rest and take care of himself.”
“He had nothing else to prove to the world or anyone. My husband and I moved to Florida to be close to him. He was old and wanted to be there as much as possible,” she continued. “We were going through 25 surgeries together, and suddenly he didn't want me in the surgery… everything started to be covered in thick veils.
Brooke said she felt “dismembered,” and what followed was “respectful disagreements that had an emotional blow to me.”
“For the past two years I had to step away to protect my heart. My husband quietly reached out to my father and quietly reached out to him, trying to find a safe way for me. I read those messages after he passed.

She ultimately says she knows she has done everything she can and believes her father knows “running through a building that burns for him.”
“I know how deep, how difficult it is and how purely he was, and I know this. All I really wanted from my dad was love, honesty and deep connections. And for a few years I had it.
Brooke said her world has now been “forever changed,” but she is “deeply blessed with her beloved husband and two beautiful children who remind her of every day of the greatest gift of life.”
“I am deeply grateful for the love, respect and monument from his fans and friends. His life is worth celebrating and will always be,” she concluded.
After sharing her statement, Brooke posted a video of her and her father's photos.
“My beloved daddy, you were everything I did, and I am always your girl. I am proud to be your daughter – for all the love, light and goodness you have brought into this world.
“Our bond is eternal. The truth brings me comfort and hope, even in your absence. I love you more than all the stars in the sky, 4lifeafterLife,” she added, ending the post with “Eternally Your Brook.”
Hogan was declared dead at the hospital within 90 minutes of his Clearwater medical doctor's arrival at his home and arriving at his home to answer a morning call about cardiac arrest on July 24, police said.
“There were no signs of foul plays or suspicious activity,” Major Nate Burnside told reporters.
Hogan was probably the biggest star in WWE's long history. He was the first WrestleMania major draw in 1985 and a fixture for many years, playing against everyone, from Andre's Giant and Randy Savage to Rock and even WWE co-founder Vince McMahon.
Hogan is also a celebrity outside the world of wrestling and has appeared in many films and TV shows, including reality shows about his life in VH1. Hogan knows best.
