Rapper Kid Cudy reveals Sean “Diddy” Combs' experience testifying at a sex trafficking and assault trial in May.
Pursuit of Happiness Rapper (real name Scott Mescudi) spoke to Call's Daddy Podcast host, Alex Cooper, when he marked the first time he spoke about Combs' time at trial.
Mescudi said he declined two testimony but had to stand up if he was summoned. The 41-year-old rapper previously dated Combs' ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in 2011 and testified about a brief relationship that took place 14 years ago.
“I had to be there, so I was just there,” Mescudi told Cooper. “I hated it every minute. I didn't want to do it.”
However, he made it clear that he “want to support Kathy” who was a key witness at Combs' trial.
Mescudi stood up on May 22nd and said he broke into a Hollywood Hills home in 2011 after finding out that Combs was dating his ex-girlfriend Ventura, and that he was certain that Combs was behind the bombing of his car a few weeks later.
The Grammy-winning rapper told Cooper that he felt “satisfied” in the stands.
“I said, 'What am I wearing, man? Should I be like (a) a suit or something?” I said, 'Man, this is what I wear this f. I'm wearing some hard socks.' He said he was explaining the clothes he was wearing in federal court in Manhattan.

Mescudi spoke about agreeing to the fact that he was there to testify in support of Ventura.
“When I was there, when I was there, I was there. I'm here to support Kathy. Kathy is my friend, you know, and I love her, and I want to see her go well,” he said.
“And when I saw her getting married, I was so happy with her, you know, she found her, her person. When I saw her having a child, I knew, “Oh, this is so great” I knew what I was saying, right? “

He said, “I just wanted her to flourish, do well and be happy because I know she has nightmares and I was just there to support her.”

“It was something that gave me peace when I sat in that chair. It just liked to look at her, 'Oh, I have to hold back the girl in the house',” added Night Rapper.
Cooper asked Kudi about the period of his life when he was dating Ventura.
“It was crazy, man,” he said. “At this point, it was just crazy, like I was having a hard time figuring out whether it was real or not. 'Am I in a movie? What's going on?”
“It's just confusing and intense,” he added. “And as you know, I deal with my personal S, so I didn’t care anymore.
In another interview on CBS Morning, Mescudi discussed the public response to his testimony.
“The backlash was quick. There were a lot of people who supported me, but a few people had an opinion on it,” Meski said. “It was funny because I'm not a street dude. I don't have code, do you know? I think it's because I'm a rapper. People just threw it at me.

Mescudi spoke at Combs' federal sex trafficking trial in Manhattan, saying that while he and Ventura were dating, he took her to the West Hollywood Hotel and took her out of Combs. While there he said he received a call from Combs' assistant Capricorn Clark. She tells him that combs and affiliates were at Mestudi's house and were forced to go with her.
Mescudi said he called Combs while he was home and asked why he was at his house. He said Combs calmly replied, “I want to talk to you.”
However, when he arrived, Combs was not there, Meski testified. Instead, he discovers that someone opened a Christmas present they had bought for his family and locked the dog in the bathroom. Mescudi had no idea what was going on, so he called the police.
A few weeks later, Mescudi testified, and his Porsche 911 convertible was damaged by fire while parked in his driveway. Mescudi says he was at a friend's house when his dog sitter called and told him that his car was on fire. Ju's judge was shown a photo of a hole in the fabric roof and burning the car's red leather interior. A Molotov cocktail was found in the passenger seat, Mescudi said.
Ventura had testified that Combs threatened to blow up Mescudi's car and threatened to hurt him after learning she was dating the rapper.
Mescudi said there was no conflict with anyone other than the comb at the time.
“He knew there was something to do with it,” Mescudi said. Ju's judge was told to ignore his remarks.

Mescudi told the ju decree he met with Combs the following day at a hotel in Los Angeles.
“After the fire, I said, 'This is uncontrollable. I need to talk to him,'” Meski said.
At the end of the meeting, when they stood and shook hands, Mescudi said he asked Combs, “What are you going to do about my car?” Mescudi said Combs gave him a “very cold stare” and replied, “I don't know what you're talking about.”
Mescudi thought “he was lying,” but he let it go and said there was no better episode in his house. Years later, Combs apologised “for everything” when they came across each other at the hotel, Mescudi testified.
Combs has been behind the bar since his arrest in September. He faced federal accusations that he was forcing his girlfriend to have a drug-fueled sex marathon with a male sex worker.
He was acquitted last month from top accusations (assault and sex trafficking) and was convicted of two prostitution-related crimes.
His ruling is scheduled for October 3rd.
