Bad Bunny will take his Latin Trap and Reggaeton Swagger to the biggest stage in the NFL next year. The Grammy Award winner will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show in Northern California.
The NFL, Apple Music and Roc Nation announced on Sunday that Bad Bunny will lead the halftime festival from Levi's stadium on February 8th in Santa Clara, California.
The selection of Puerto Ricon superstars takes place in another run that defines a career. He's fresh from the historic Puerto Rican residency, which attracted over half a million fans this month and led all the nominees for the Latin Grammy Awards in November. He has become one of the world's most streamed artists with albums such as “Un Verano Sin Ti,” an all-out language LP.
Bad Bunny will host Saturday Night Live on October 4th.
“What I feel is beyond myself,” Bud Bunny said in a statement. “It's for those who came before me and ran countless yards. I can come in and get a touchdown. This is for my people, my culture and our history.
Roc Nation founder Jay-Z said in a statement that Bad Bunny “is really exciting to see what he's doing for Puerto Rico.”

Last year, Kendrick Lamar sparkled with guest SZA in New Orleans, setting the record for the most viewed Super Bowl halftime show with 133.5 million viewers. His performance surpassed the audience at Michael Jackson's 1993 show.
“Not only has his music beat the record, he has also brought Latin music to the heart of pop culture and is excited to bring this historic performance to millions of fans around the world,” he said. “We know this show will never be forgotten.”
