Indiana bankruptcy lawyer Mark Zuckerberg has filed a lawsuit against Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
Attorney Mark Zuckerberg uses his commercial Facebook page to promote his legal practices and communicate with potential clients. However, his page has been disabled five times in the last eight years. Because Meta's Moderation Systems has accidentally flagged his account for extending its platform founder Mark Zuckerberg.
Mark Zuckerberg is not pretending to be Mark Zuckerberg. Because he's also Mark Zuckerberg. In his legal complaints, Mark Zuckerberg points out that Mark Zuckerberg was only three years old and he is practicing the law.
“It's not funny,” lawyer Mark Zuckerberg told 13wthr in Indianapolis. “It wasn't when they took my money. This really pissed me off.”
Mark Zuckerberg spent over $11,000 to promote the page on Mark Zuckerberg's metaplatform, but if Mark Zuckerberg's account is disabled because he allegedly spoofed Mark Zuckerberg, then Mark Zuckerberg will have to pay for these ads.
In his complaints, the lawyer has shared a copy of the email thread since 2020, where he asks about his accidentally disabled account and references that have been contacting the platform about this since 2017.
“Also, if you happen to come across a younger, richer Mark Zuckerberg, I say hello and he causes a huge deterioration in me every day,” attorney Mark Zuckerberg wrote in one email.

Mark Zuckerberg has long been troubled by the looming presence of Mark Zuckerberg. He created the website Iammarkzuckerberg.com. There, under the name Mark Zuckerberg, he records how his life was shaped.
“I'm a mischievous caller and I assume I'll hang up, so I can't use my name when I make a reservation or do business,” he said. “My life sometimes feels like a Michael Jordan ESPN commercial, where the regular person's name causes a certain amount of confusion.”
The lawyer may not be a well-known billionaire, but he is not your average Joe either (he's Mark Zuckerberg after all). Sometimes he's a respected person in bankruptcy law, so he ends up flying to Las Vegas to speak his engagement. But even on his own lawn, he cannot escape from the other Mark Zuckerbergs.
“While talking in Las Vegas, the limousine driver was waiting for me at the bottom of the escalator with the 'Mark Zuckerberg' sign.
Regularly, lawyers say they receive calls and messages for technology founders. But when this daily nuisance turned into a potential loss of income, Mark Zuckerberg lost patience with Mark Zuckerberg.
“We know there are multiple Mark Zuckerbergs in the world, and we're reaching the bottom of this,” Meta told 13WTHR.
If there's a bit of comfort for a lawyer, then when you google “Mark Zuckerberg Bankruptcy” he always appears first… at least for now.
“Mark E. Zuckerberg doesn't want any malicious intentions at all,” he wrote on the website. “I hope the best for him, but please tell me this. I will control the search for “Mark Zuckerberg's bankruptcy.” And if he falls into a difficult financial era and happens to be in Indiana, he will be happy to handle his case in honor of our typical example. ”
