The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has recalled McCain's tasting brand Crispy Potato Bites because the food may contain plastic debris.
The food recall notice, published Tuesday, states that the risk rating for the recalled potato bites is “Class II,” the second of three risk levels.
According to the agency's definition, Class II is considered a “moderate risk that consuming the food may cause short-term or non-life-threatening health problems.”

This recall specifically applies to McCain Tasty Taters Crispy Potato Bites in both 800 gram and 1.8 kilogram sizes and may include product code F250226.
If customers have purchased any of the listed products, the CFIA states that they should not use, sell, offer, or distribute the affected products.
