The Covid-19 vaccine will no longer be free to Quebec's general public this fall.
Only certain groups who remain eligible for subsidized vaccines, including those with chronic health conditions, those over the age of 65, and healthcare workers, will remain eligible.

The department says that most of the population is already exposed to the virus, and healthy adults with Covid-19 immunity no longer need to prioritize vaccinations.
According to the Quebec Association of Owner Pathologists, vaccine doses range from $150 to $180.
Alberta, like other vaccination programs, announced plans in June after the federal government was in charge of purchasing the Covid-19 vaccine.
