    R. Kelly was hospitalized after a prison overdose, his lawyer claims murder plan – National

    R. kelly was hospitalized after a prison overdose, his lawyer

    R. Kelly's lawyers allege the dishonorable R&B singer overdose from the drugs given to him last week by prison staff.

In an application obtained by USA Today, Kelly's legal team claims that after being placed in isolated confinement, prison staff provided “overdoses” compared to “normal anxiety and sleep dosages” that led to hospitalization on June 12th and June 13th.

The submission states that Kelly was “forced removal from Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, despite medical advice.”

Kelly was convicted in Brooklyn federal court in 2021 on multiple charges including assault and sex trafficking, and has been sentenced to 30 years in prison at the Federal Corrections Institute facility in Butner, North Carolina since 2022.

His lawyers allege that the alleged overdose came after he was locked up in a cell “against his will” on June 10th.

According to the filing, Kelly woke up on June 13th feeling “slightly” and “dizzy.”

“He began to see black spots in his vision. Mr. Kelly tried to get up, but it fell to the ground,” the movement read. “He raw at the cell door and lost consciousness.”

Kelly's lawyers say medical staff at the onsite prison could not help him, which means that he was taken by ambulance to Duke University Hospital, where he stayed for two days.

His team said they could only speak to him on Monday after his previous phone call was cancelled “without explanation.”

The submission also claimed that Kelly was removed from the hospital prior to undergoing surgery for “ongoing thrombotic issues,” and that the hospital should remain there for two weeks for the operation.

“Within an hour, a police officer with a gun entered the hospital room and took Mr. Kelly away. He was taken from the hospital contrary to his will and the instructions of the doctor,” according to Kelly's lawyer.

“That cannot be denied. Mr. Kelly's life is at risk now, because the Prison Bureau refused the necessary surgery to clear the mass from his lungs,” claimed Kelly's lawyer Beau B. Brindley. “He could die in this state and they're making it happen.”

Brindley has requested temporary meals for his home detention, but federal prosecutors have called Kelly's emergency motion claims “fantasy” and “theatrical.”

They also noted that Kelly's claim was filed in the wrong court and place and failed to follow the proper procedure using the wrong kind of cases.

Federal prosecutors also accused him of being a “master manipulator” by saying that Kelly's emergency motion “lols the harm that Kelly's victims suffered.”

In a filing starting June 10, Kelly's lawyers alleged there was clear evidence that officials killed him, as officials killed him while in custody at a federal prison in North Carolina.

His lawyer provided a declaration of oath from Mikile Glenn Stein, a terminal prisoner and leader of the Aryan Brotherhood.

The Aryan Brotherhood is a violent white supremacist gang formed within California prisons in the late 1960s, which spreads into the federal prison system. Authorities have spent decades trying to defeat the organization.

Stine alleges that Kelly and his lawyers were told they were planning to release the damage information, and the filing alleges that authorities violated the privileges of lawyers and clients by intercepting personal communications, according to Variety.

Stine said officials said he would be charged with Kelly's murder, but the evidence was said to be falsely incorrect and he was not convicted.

He arrived at Kelly's squad in March and claimed that he was ready to kill him, but had a change of heart, informing the R&B singer that it was allegedly done to him by an official from the Prison Bureau.

Kelly's lawyers said in early June that the second member of the Aryan Brotherhood was allegedly instructed by officials to kill both Kelly and Stein.

His lawyers argue that Kelly is in danger as he is detained by other members of the Aryan Brotherhood.

“The threat to Kelly's life continues every day of not taking action,” according to Variety, read the submission. “More AB members are accumulating in his facilities. Multiple members have already been approached to carrying out his murder, one of them will make sure Stine does not do so, and thus fill in the truth about what happened in this case with Robert Kelly.”

After filing the emergency motion, Kelly's legal team last week called for generosity from US President Donald Trump to move the shameful singer from federal prison to home confinement.

“We are openly debated with people close to President Trump, and those debates have expanded and strengthened since we filed our allegations,” Brindley told people in a statement. “We believe President Trump is the only person who has the courage to help us.”
