Drug performer Bianca Castro-Arabejo, known as reality TV star Jiggly Caliente in Rupaul's drag race, died Sunday at age 44, days after his family reported hospitalization for a serious infection.
Castro Arabejo, who became a judge for the Drag Race Philippines in 2022, has abolished plans to appear in the coming season after a recent hospitalization for “severe infections” and amputation surgery on the leg, her family said in a statement on her Instagram page.
She passed away early Sunday, her family said in a separate statement.
“My bright presence in the world of entertainment and advocacy was celebrated with her infectious energy, intense wit and unwavering credibility,” her family said Sunday. “She has been exposed to countless lives through artistry, activism and the authentic connection she has nurtured with fans all over the world.”
Castro Arabellavillo competed in RuPaul's fourth season of Drag Race and later in RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars.

“Her talent, truth and influence will never be forgotten, and her legacy will always be murdered – always killing,” said a statement posted on Rupaul's Drag Race X.
Castro Arabejo, born in the Philippines, moved to New York. She began working in drugs about 20 years ago, appearing in competitions and pageants. She noted the impact of her upbringing in her work and its importance to representing her in the industry. In 2018, she released a hip-hop album called Thot Process.

“I wanted to come out because I was ready to come out.
