Original Rush Band members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson have announced they are planning a reunion tour of the iconic Canadian band in 2026.
This was the band's first show since the 2015 R40 tour and the death of drummer Neil Pete in 2020.
According to the band, the tour, called The Fifty Something Tour, celebrates Rush's music and heritage, and the life of Peart.
“Alex and I have been playing Rush music with our fallen bandmate and friend Neal,” Lee said. “A lifelong worthy song that we wrote, recorded and performed cumulative hearts and souls in stages. And after downing from that last show, Alex and I made some serious soul searches and came to the decision that we missed it and was a time for celebration.
“In 2026, my BFF Lerxst (Lifeson) and I will once again go on our path by performing a huge rush song in a handful of cities, paying tribute to the past and Neal.

Lee said Pete's location behind the kit will be filled out on tour by “incredible” German drummer Anica Nils.
“We are excited to support 50 things touring, celebrate the band that the music has resonated and inspired fans for generations, and to celebrate Neil's extraordinary legacy as both a drummer and lyricist.”
