See what you did to her – Taylor Swift revealed a brand new era with the announcement of her upcoming 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl.
Swift released the album with the help of New Heights, a podcast by his boyfriend Travis Kelse, 35, and his brother Jason Kelse, 37.
In a clip shared on Instagram at 12:12am ET on Tuesday, Swift said, “I wanted to show you something.”
“Okay, what did you get?” Jason asked. “A briefcase, mint green with TS. What's inside?”
“This is my brand new album, The Life of a Showgirl,” Swift said, holding up a blurry vinyl.
“TS 12,” Travis cheered.
The 35-year-old singer also released the album on her website shortly after the countdown timer expired at 12:12am on Tuesday. Although the release date was not announced, her website said the vinyl version of the album would be shipped by October 13th.
Fans have long theorized that Swift's 12th album will arrive soon. On Monday, Taylor Nation, the official branch of the pop superstar marketing team, posted a titctok slideshow with 12 images, captioned, “I'm thinking when she says, 'See you in the next era.'

The album's announcement came after Swift was confirmed to be a guest on her boyfriend's podcast in an episode released on Wednesday, August 13th.
In the episode's teaser, Swift sat on the other side of Travis and looked at his shirt and said, “It's such a lovely color for you.”

“Yes, I know. It's the colour of your eyes, it's sweet. So we match very well,” he replied.
“We're trying to do an AF-podcast,” Swift said with a laugh.
Showgirl Life was released at the 2024 Grammy Awards and a record-breaking tour following last year's Tortured Poets category.
The album is also her first release since Swift regained control over her entire work. In May, the pop star said he purchased a catalog of recordings originally released through large machine records from its latest owner, private equity company Shamrock Capital. She did not disclose the amount.
In recent years, Swift has re-recorded and released her albums in an attempt to regain control of her music. The project was instigated by the purchase and sale of the initial catalog of Hybe America CEO Scooter Braun, and represents Swift's efforts to control her own songs and how they are being used. Previous version releases of Taylor have arrived with new “Vault” music, Easter eggs and visuals that will help you understand her work.
So far, there have been four re-recorded albums in 2021, starting with the fearless (Taylor's version) and Red (Taylor's version). All four made their debuts at number one on the Billboard 200.
Swift's Last Recording, 1989 (Taylor's version) arrived in October 2023, just four months after the release of Speak Now (Taylor's version). It was the same year, and Swift won the record for the most album-holding woman in history.
