Ariana Grande was walking down the yellow brick carpet at the Singapore premiere of her new movie Wicked: For Good on Thursday when a man attacked her.
In footage of the exchange captured on TikTok, Grande was walking along the carpet at Universal Studios Singapore and signing autographs with co-stars Cynthia Erivo, Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum when a man appeared to jump over a barricade.
The man then ran up to Grande, threw his arm around her, and jumped up and down excitedly as he waved to the crowd. Erivo quickly intervened and separated the two just before security came in and removed him from the carpet.
In the video, Grande appears visibly shaken and takes a deep breath as Erivo hugs her once the man is gone.
The man, who calls himself Johnson Wen, shared the video on his TikTok account, calling himself a “prankster.”
“Dear Ariana Grande, thank you for letting me ride the yellow carpet with you #wicked,” Wen wrote in the caption.
Wen recently stormed the stage and put his arm around Katy Perry during a concert in Sydney, Australia in June.

Perry was performing her hit song “Hot and Cold” at Qudos Bank Arena when Wen ran onto the stage and started dancing next to Perry.
In videos shared on social media, the man appears visibly shocked as he tries to put his arm around her and jumps on stage, similar to what he did to Grande.
Wen then began to dance alone after Perry turned and distanced herself from him and continued singing. As he performed his “floss” dance moves, security approached him from both sides and escorted him off stage.
As security guards grabbed the man, Perry said into a microphone: “Enjoy yourselves, Sydney, because you'll never see a show like this again.” “What the hell is going on?”

New South Wales police told NBC News the man was arrested and charged with two offenses, including trespassing on closed grounds and obstructing the performance of work or duties.
Wen didn't just approach Perry and Grande. He has previously shared videos of himself running on stage during The Weeknd's concert in Melbourne last year, and running onto the field at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup finals.
He also suspended events during the Paris Olympics and the Men's Cricket World Cup to be held in Melbourne in December 2024.

Asked how he managed to keep slipping past security after the incident, Mr Wen told Australia's 9News: “Magic. Just kidding, I'm too fast.”
Wen said he collected an estimated $20,000 fine for his stage-invasion antics.
“It’s so annoying that I want to quit for good,” he added.
It was not immediately clear whether he would be charged in the Singapore incident.
