Health Canada says the risk of burns has reminded me of the pressure cooker lid that has caused more than 100 injuries in the United States.
According to a recall notification posted Thursday, the pressure cooker lids of several models of Ninja Foods can be opened while cooking, “letting hot content escape” and “substantiate the potential risk of burns to consumers.”
“We will immediately stop using the pressure regulator feature on the multicooker, discard the pressure lid and contact Sharkninja to arrange for the exchange pressure lid,” Health Canada said, using the name of the company behind the product.
