A line of waffle desserts sold at Canadian Dollarama stores have been recalled due to the risk of mold.
In a notice, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency announced that Biskwi branded sweets, known as “chocolate-filled waffles,” have been recalled across Canada due to “microbial contamination.”
The treats will be sold nationwide at Dollarama retail stores in 180-gram packages with a best-before date of April 21, 2026 to May 12, 2026.

Canadians are being told by authorities not to use, sell, serve or distribute the affected desserts.
Dollarama has added these sweets to its list of recalled items.
The company added that if a recall is confirmed, affected products will be “impossible” to purchase in stores unless they have already been removed.

“In accordance with our standard product recall procedures, recalled products will be blocked system-wide and chain-wide through our POS terminals,” Dollarama said in a statement on its website.
“This will prevent us from processing sales of recalled products.”
Dollarama is also advising customers who purchased recalled products to “immediately stop using the product,” in addition to contacting customer service for information about refunds.
